These spacers provide a little extra vertical space between tiers when used with the Woodlore shoe racks. I like the extra space because it makes viewing the shoes or getting them out of the rack a little easier. Assembly is a piece of cake. The rack extender kit is made from aromatic cedar just like the shoe racks so it has that wonderful cedar smell.
